ABOUT ISH ENGINEERING

We are a team of professional geologists, engineers, and scientists lead by a general manager who has over 35 years of experience in a broad spectrum of scientific disciplines. He has B.S in Geology with emphasis on ground water. He also has Master’s Degree in Engineering with emphasis on Hydrology and Water Resources administration. Throughout his career, he designed and developed numerous well fields for water supply and for remediation purposes. In his early career he assisted rural communities in Northern Somalia by heading a crew of geologists and technicians tasked with exploring ground water resources and installing water supply wells for domestic use. As an environmental consultant, he prepared contract proposals for remedial action plans, developed remedial systems designed to clean up petroleum and other toxic releases polluting surface and ground water. He spent the greater part of his professional career working for the State of California. He held various positions during his tenure (over 30 years) with the State of California, from junior Environmental Engineer to the Assistant Executive Officer for the California Water Board, a regulatory agency that is responsible for the protection, enhancement, and improvement of the waters of the State. He reviewed, Issued regulatory approvals and supervised design/implementation plans and monitoring networks for landfills, remedial systems, oil fields, mining operations, wastewater ponds and treatment systems.
